Shipping policy

All orders are delivered by Frank McGowans dedicated delivery team within the greater Dublin area (surrounding counties). Outside of this we use home delivery company that specialises in bulk furniture which incurs an additional cost. If goods are in stock delivery is typically made within one to two weeks from receipt of an order. This can often be quicker and is dependent on delivery location and volumes. A member of our sales staff will be in touch within 48 hours of receipt of your order to provide you with an estimated delivery date where possible.

There is a €40 standard delivery charge for the greater Dublin area deliveries, €120 delivery charge is added to deliveries outside the greater Dublin area. All our deliveries will include assembly of furniture and the team will remove all packaging for you unless requested by customer to leave fully packaged. Please note if this happens and customer is unable to assemble it correctly then additional cost will be incurred to call back out. rate above depending on your area.

If due to circumstances outside your control you are unable to accept delivery when your goods arrive into us we are happy to store your goods Free of Charge in our warehouse for a maximum period of 4 weeks, providing the goods have been paid for in full within 7 days of notification of availability. If after this period you are still unable to accept delivery then we will need to apply a €50 per week storage charge for a maximum of 5 more weeks. After this we will need to arrange delivery as we cannot extend our storage for your goods beyond this.

If you need to change any delivery details like the delivery address or contact number, you can call reception on 018706100 or email info@frankmcgowan.com. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made, delivery times quoted on your order are approximate and cannot be guaranteed. Our warehouse will contact you when your goods arrive at our warehouse, and they will arrange a delivery date with you.

Our policy is to give you an AM or PM time slot, however, as you can appreciate due to circumstances outside our control such as traffic and bad weather, we may not always be able to meet this time slot. If your delivery is to be delayed for any reason a member of our Team will phone you to explain the problem and they will confirm a new time slot with you. If our team arrive within the agreed time and there is nobody home to complete delivery, they will have no choice but to bring goods back to our warehouse and we will need to reschedule another date with you. This is considered another delivery and the delivery rates above will be applied again. Please ensure that at the time of delivery you have provided sufficient contact telephone numbers for us to be able to reach you at all times during that particular day.


If you need to reschedule delivery dates please give us as much notice as possible so we can accommodate this smoothly for you. We understand that last minute things happen and circumstance beyond your control. A minimum of 24hours notice will be needed on greater Dublin area deliveries and for outside of this we will need 48hours notice.
